Adam Henshaw
Adam is a communications specialist who has spent his career managing both internal and external initiatives. He has worked internationally for corporations such as Royal Dutch/Shell and Bell Canada Telecommunications on issues ranging from strategy to market development.
Adam combines the ability to see the ‘big picture’ of a business challenge, with an attention to detail that ensures execution is consistent with strategy. A creative and energetic personality, he is a motivating force and an asset to any team initiative.

Dr. Andrew Flynn
Andrew is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Cardiff, Wales. His expertise is centred upon relationships between business and the environment and environmental policy and implementation. He has advised public organisations, global consumer goods companies and SME's and been at the forefront of research into sustainable development. Recent projects include advising upon the design phase of two global environmental change projects for the Board of a multinational company. He has worked on projects in China, Romania, the Caribbean and UK. Andrews publications include:

Dr. Andrew Taylor
Andrew has twelve years experience of business in Romania, for the last nine years as a performance improvement consultant. He has now worked across Europe and Canada for a wide range of multinational clients providing consulting in teams, leadership and organisational change. An accomplished public speaker he is skilled at working an audience to ensure that events are exciting, fun and deliver real learning value. Whilst his training as a researcher allows him to quickly identify the key trends that are affecting organisational success. His Ph.D. in environmental policy provides the foundation for a strong interest in engaging organisations in delivering environmental change. A natural leader, Andrew is able to mobilise support for and deliver organisational changes which are difficult and not always comfortable for those involved. He has no client that has not returned to him for repeat business.
Examples of his work include:
- A bespoke project bringing together managers and street children, attracted two global awards, for best HR project and most dynamic business project.
- The design and delivery of a one year team turnaround project that (using the clients own KPI's) resulted in a 700% increase in team performance.
- A project to advising the Board of a multinational company upon the design phase of two global environmental change projects.
Andrew has written widely for business and current affairs media (e.g. www.vivid.ro). Bill Krouwel, MA, ACIS, FITOL
Bill Krouwel has over twenty years’ experience as a trainer of managers. After qualifying as a Chartered Secretary, he joined a packaging and printing company as Training Officer rising to Company Training Manager before taking up an appointment as Regional Personnel Manager for a large retailer. After some years, he was invited to join the management team of Lindley Educational Trust to which he introduced Management Development Outdoors, a training medium in which he has been closely involved since 1978.
In 1984, Bill began working independently, specialising in practical and imaginative approaches to personal, management and team development using the outdoors. His work has involved him with a wide range of organisations worldwide. His overseas work includes assignments in Romania, Serbia, Croatia, France, Serbia, Germany, the Netherlands, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, Poland, Finland and Singapore.
Bill’s publications include ‘Management Development Outdoors’, (Kogan Page 1994), numerous short articles in the training press . A book which critically examines the commodification of experiential training was published in late 2002.
Bill holds a Masters in Management Learning from Lancaster University, maintains his Chartered Secretaryship, and is a Fellow of ITOL. (The Institute if Training and Organisational Learning).
Apart from his long-term involvement in experiential approaches to management learning, Bill is qualified and experienced as a Myers-Briggs and Firo-B practitioner, and has recently successfully designed and delivered:
- organisational simulations,
- assessment centres,
- performance management programmes,
- programmes aimed at enabling managers to provide leadership in times of change.
He is based in the West of England, and aims to design and deliver positive and intelligent vehicles for personal and management learning.

Barrie Taylor
A west of England based Consultant who has worked with Connect-CEE on many of its team-building and leadership programmes in both Europe and North America since 1995.
Barrie has a proven track record and a depth of experience in Team Building and Leadership Training in the United Kingdom both in industry and the voluntary sector. His work is well respected particularly within the banking sector and more recently he has devoted more time to sharing his skills and experience with new leaders and young people within the voluntary sector, where his outstanding achievements have won him several prestigious awards.
Barrie has been heavily involved with Team Building and Leadership training in partnership with Connect-CEE, based in Romania, both as Consultant and Facilitator and has worked with such multi-national clients as Orange, GSK, Ipsos and others. He has recently been involved with the take-over by a Romanian client of a North American corporation, and has been instrumental in facilitating integration of the units and seeking out and addressing the concerns of employees affected as a result.
His approach is down to earth and practical, it is always to the point and relevant. A demanding facilitator who encourages participants to think for themselves and take responsibility, he quickly earns client respect.
His experience working with young people was brought to bear in assisting with the execution of a project bringing managers and street children together in Bucharest. The programme went on to win international recognition and awards for its innovation and achievement.
Barrie has worked all over the world, including France, Germany, Spain, Switzerland, Romania, USA and Canada and is a fluent French and German speaker to business standard.

Claudia Dogaru
Claudia Dogaru – is an experienced Organisational Development professional, who consolidated her expertise by working over the last 10 year in a world leading pharmaceutical company. Over the time, she covered various internal communication and organisational development management roles, being responsible for creation, implementation and evaluation of all development and training activities for 700 employees of the Romanian business. She designed and implemented sales, marketing and functional development and training programmes, for employees, managers and senior managers. Several of the projects she worked on were recognised as best practice by the HR&OD community.
Claudia's expertise covers areas as: leadership and management development, team and organisational development, talent management and development, succession planning, performance management, culture change, change management, internal communication, development CSR projects.
She was involved in several pan – European projects covering leadership development, performance management and culture chance. Also, she has experience in delivering trainings for culture awareness, performance management, management basics, leadership basics, coaching, resilience, motivation, change management, communication & presentation skills.
She is certified for independent use of the Hogan Assessment Systems psychological methods.
Claudia holds a degree in philology for “Transilvania” University in Brasov. Also, she did 2 years of postgraduates studies in communication and public relations at SNSPA Bucharest.

Cristian Ontanu
Cristian is a highly experienced multi-lingual project manager and consultant whose 19 years experience also includes a wide variety of operational roles.
With extensive international experience across many sectors, he has led highly complex IT and ERP projects that have delivered successful and sustainable change for clients. Supply chain and financial process analysis, redesign and improvement have been a key component of projects, including change management and growth management.
Cristian has led numerous teams including multi-ethnic and cross-functional project teams. A highly accomplished project manager, he is experienced and accredited in a number of tools and methodologies including PMI’s PMBOOK.
A former VP Organisation and Systems for a French retailer, Cristian brings experience of bringing people and process together in a business that was expanding at hundreds of per cent per annum. In addition he has wide consulting experience in supply chain, IT and organisational development across Europe. He has worked with clients such as Unilever, Orange and GSK.
Cristian brings a patience that is unusual in people with operations backgrounds and completely focussed upon achieving through others.
He is a fluent English speaker.

Dr. George Boukouris
George began his career as an academic with an MA in political economy and PhD in public policy reflecting a passion for effective decision making processes and learning from policy failure and successes.
Originally an environment specialist in carbon and energy taxation, these experiences led to a career in business consultancy and training as well as new business creation and change management. Several years in the medical devices and biotechnology field has George working for a blue chip PLC launching new medical devices in neurosurgery internationally. Combining a charismatic approach to communication with an entrepreneurial mind and rigorous approach to detail, he provides high quality leadership that delivers results. Not afraid to think outside the box, George is a demanding and effective consultant and facilitator.

Steve Goodwill
Steve Goodwill has been a trainer and consultant for over twenty years,
specialising in the development of skills for Leadership, Influencing,
Strategic Planning, Team Working, Negotiations and Problem Solving.
Steve has worked with all levels of Management from Board members to
Supervisors and with front line operators. He has worked with a variety
of companies and with the NHS and other public organisations, in the UK,
Europe and the Far East. His career has included commissioned service in
the Royal Marines, Development Training, Systems Consultancy and
Operations Management. Steve has developed a number of long term modular
programmes with some major organisations, where the "little and often"
approach to learning has proved very effective. He is particularly
interested in the effective and ethical uses of the outdoors in
development training and has written two books on the subject. In his
spare time he enjoys family time, outdoor activities and coaching junior
rugby.
