How We Do It

All of our programmes are based upon utilising the outdoors as a tool to enhance learning. We do not use the outdoors as an end in itself. All programmes are managed by a designated facilitator, who ensures that a review takes place subsequent to each task. The review process enables delegates to discuss what went well, or badly, make resolutions to change negative behaviour, before trying new methods during the next task. Wherever appropriate, the facilitator will make use of their experience to lead discussions, input relevant theory and relate learning back to real working practices (see The Process, overleaf). Such a strategy enables groups to understand how effective they are and what they need to do in order to become more effective.
