Knowing when it is appropriate, what it means, how to implement TM and how to use a talent index to measure the effectiveness of a TM system. For example, within the Talent model one of the key challenges is how to recruit and retain top performers and cultivate the “Superkeepers”; retain key position back-ups; training, rewards, education, assignments, development (TREADs).
This module is organised around joining up retention of top performers, the so-called bundle of best practices that define talent management and employer branding. Understanding the process of how to systematically integrate the processes and practices described above that offers the strategic promise that attracts practitioners to TM.
The module draws upon key contempoary thinkers such as Ulrich, Guest, Danford, Baird, Berger, etc.
